A long way gone

Significance: To me this quote is very significant. It shows how Ishmael beah isn't safe at all. Witch really worry's me. I still cant believe that a boy of his age would have to go trough everything he is going! I don't find that fare after he should be free having fun. But he isn't hes worrying about all these adult stuff. The thing is he cant help it when hes going to die. But as a child of his age he shouldn't be worried about all that! He should just be having fun.


Character judgment: I don't really think I'm in a position to judge this character but if i am. I just have to say how much I admire him. I mean hes going trough all this stuff no one would want to go trough you cant say bad things about him! I also like how he worry's a lot about him self. I would if I were him. So i believe he is doing good.

Question: Do you think that Ismael beah will get out of the forest save?

Quote 2: " Each time I lifted my feet, the veins inside them tightened and i felt the sand particles digging in to my bleeding soles."

Significance:This quote meant a lot to me! After I always talk about how sorry I feel for him. Here is a quote thank kind of shows his pain. Like I keep no saying I feel really bad for him! I don't think he deserves all of this pain and everything he goes trough. He deserves to be a normal child playing with his friends.

Character judgment: Well the only thing I can say really is that I feel supper bad for him. Because he doesn't live the life a normal child would live =(
